DRM’s RIGHTS PROTECTION CAPABILITY: A REVIEW

Introduction. The efficiency of communicating content through digital media is unquestionable, but there are challenges. Unexpected effects of this technology include increased opportunities for copyrightviolations. Therefore, rights protection is essential. Digital Rights Management (DRM) is a content providers’ weapon to accomplish copyright protection of their intellectual property. DRM provides a technological approach for content providers to control the use and distribution of the content. This technology has received more attention and use in recent years.
